ivee shows network connection, but I keep getting connection errors.

For some users, ivee will connect to the Wi-Fi, but still respond with server errors.

This may be because your router security authentication is setup with WEP. We've noticed issues with WEP. However, we're working on a fix for it, but there is no set date as to when it will be released.

One solution is to change your routers security to WPA or WPA2.

If that is not the issue, and ivee is still having trouble connecting, it could be hardware related. In that case, please contact our support at hello@helloivee.com

    I set-up my WPA2 wi-fi connection, and now she only says "I'm having trouble connecting to my server. Please try again." for every command. I have even reset the thing. I cannot get to a place where I can configure wi-fi, any more! She will not even do the "disconnected mode" things. Useless,

    I'm having the same trouble as Raymond Spangle. The unit keeps saying "I'm having trouble connecting to my server. Please try again." for every command.

    I have the same issue my mac id is 7C:DD:90:53:98:18. It would be great if you can fix this . Also its not picking up the time NTP today?

    I just got my Ivee, it has the same problem. MAC Id is 7CDD905399A9. I would love Ivee to work.

    I hope you didn't pay more than $5. It's basically a clock with a voice that can say "I don't understand you". Only slightly more useful than my ex-wife, actually. She never knew the time.

    My IVEE cannot even keep accurate time, anymore. I set some old Android phones (no service, but wifi still works) on their side, dedicated a power plug to them, and installed DockClock. Now, I have time, date, day, and weather all on the same screen, in any font I choose. "OK Google" is a stupid phrase to say, but it *works*. Just buy some small, cheap, plastic display stands at the dollar store, and you're set!

    Hello, I just purchased the Ivee sleek, I have connedted via WPA2 and constantly get the "I am sorry I don't understand my Server's response"
    and have tried factory resets several times, and always get "there was a problem downloading the update"
    What firewall ports do I need to open? Port Triggers?
    I managed to get it to work once, but I had move it to a different location then it lost its ability to communicate with the server.
    Or should I just return this while I still can.
    The MAC address is covered over with a serial number sticker (which looks like a mac) 7C DD 90 6D 06 D7

    This needs to be fixed now. How can this company just ignore customers who have purchased their product? I am having the same issue as everyone else and have sent support an email with no response. This is unacceptable

    I am sorry, but this is beyond stupid and ridiculous. I paid for this dumb clock $239.99 +tax and all it is a piece of junk that cannot connect to server. It was working semi ok and all of the sudden cannot connect.to server. I had million of problems with this thing since day one but stuck with it and couldnt return. I wish there is a class action lawsuit started somewere for this phony company. All i can say shame.
